Setup & import

Plan creation front-loads the decisions other tools hide – cadence and permissions first, OKRs from text second.

• Check-in reminder frequency and plan permissions are chosen at creation, before any goals exist – settings that took more navigation in other recorded sessions.
• Import-from-text created the OKRs immediately, with AI metric detection setting the targets.
• The bulk importer detected and created three plans in one click, no format changes needed.
• A plan score with tips flagged our missing owners, and an AI feedback pass reviews plan quality on demand.

Check-ins

The key result is the primary object – a full page with a graph, and a check-in built around the comment.

• Each key result gets a full panel with a progress graph, days left, and today's position – where several tested rivals offer a small panel or none.
• The check-in took our 48, an at-risk status set manually, and gave the comment more space than any other tested tool.
• Initiatives attach under the key result, keeping the work visible next to the outcome.
• A data connector slot is clearly indicated on the key result for wiring it to a source.

Views & reporting

The dashboards you build by hand elsewhere come out of the box.

• The plan is itself a dashboard, with progress trends, confidence trends, and a net confidence score (percent green minus percent red) that no other tested platform has.
• Workspace health, focus, and direct-reports dashboards ship from the home page.
• The strategy map compares teams at a glance, and the dependency map traces a focused key result's connections.
• A presentation mode renders the plan as a top-to-bottom narrative, and retrospectives can be generated.

AI

AI across several workflows in the tested Tability plan – everywhere in the product, without making chat the only door.

• An AI mode is available globally and scoped to the key result in view – we asked it for a strategy against a specific key result.
• Scheduled prompts turn a prompt into a recurring daily brief, weekly status report, or executive summary with chosen recipients – observed during this Tability session; equivalent workflows were not tested across all vendors.
• AI coaches plan quality during editing and detects metrics during import.

MCP & agents

An observed workflow where AI agents are assignable to goals – assignable to goals, with their own dashboards.

• The MCP server lets Claude create plans, KPIs, and check-ins, not just read them.
• An agent manager on each key result can assign a scheduled AI manager to plan and perform work for that goal.
• Agents get the same reporting dashboards as people, so their work is inspectable like anyone else's.

People & org

Start from the goals or start from the people – both are first-class doors.

• Every person has a dashboard with their key results, initiatives, and reporting line.
• A direct-reports dashboard shows a manager their team's OKRs – this view was observed here; a uniform cross-vendor test was not completed.
• The people view filters quickly to your reports, expanding into each profile.

Enterprise & integrations

Granular controls, flexible cadences, and connectors deep enough to wire key results to live data.

• Default roles, notification controls, and settings for who can create OKRs and KPIs – plus per-plan permissions from the moment of creation.
• The check-in prompt template is customizable, and reminder schedules flex (every two weeks over six weeks, for example).
• Slack and Microsoft Teams integrations, project management sync for initiatives, and data connectors that feed key results directly.
