Hands-on findings

One 30-minute exploratory session on the named plan using a shared sales scenario. Tasks varied with access and time. This is not a reliability, security, support-quality, or long-term adoption study. Capabilities not found in the session may exist in other plans or workflows.

Rhythms.ai drops you straight into a chat window. Signup took seconds, and the first thing the platform wanted was a conversation – so I pasted my test OKRs and said they were for the sales team. The assistant noticed the team didn't exist, asked if it should create it, then built the objective, the key results, and the initiative, checking in with me before publishing. If you use Claude or ChatGPT a lot, this feels immediately familiar. It is also slower than Perdoo's importer, which just went and created everything.
The AI setup mostly gets it right
The targets came through correctly – 40 to 60 detected, the percentages right – with one miss: the lead response time key result needed its type fixed by hand, because going from 18 down to 6 was set up as the wrong kind of target. The structure landed in a clean alignment tree, and interestingly Rhythms models initiatives as aligning to objectives, not to individual key results. There is a views concept much like Mooncamp's, though it felt like it duplicated the team pages.
Check-ins get the details right
The check-in is where Rhythms quietly beats several bigger names. There is a clear button, I set 48, chose the status myself – Behind – and wrote my comment, while the panel showed me the expected value for the date next to my actual. Check-in cadence and reminders configure per team rather than per workspace, which is right: different teams have different rhythms. The history has a real check-in graph, and updating the key result updates the objective. My complaint is space – the key result panel is small, cannot be made bigger, and parts of the app read like a spreadsheet.
A conversational setup workflow
AI is not a feature here, it is the default way in. Chat sits at the top of the sidebar, Ask Rhythms is everywhere, key results can be set to auto-update from data sources via AI, and MCP integrations are documented. Their direction matters: consuming external tools is not proof of a vendor-hosted server. The connector catalog runs to 198 tools with a SOC 2 Type II badge on top. Reports – check-in coverage, compliance – are easier to read than what I found in Mooncamp or Profit.co, though the variety is thin and the nice alignment graph is hard to navigate back to. What is missing: the app can feel slow, there are no per-person dashboards, and I found no restrictions on who can create content.
Overall I would place Rhythms close to Mooncamp: Mooncamp is more responsive and more geared toward everyday use, while Rhythms is far ahead on AI and connectors. If you want a conventional OKR tool that is fast on a Tuesday afternoon, Mooncamp still wins. If you want your goals to live where your AI lives – chat, MCP, auto-updating key results – Rhythms offered a conversational setup workflow in this session, with Tability reaching the same agentic world while keeping ready-made dashboards as the front door. Finding by finding
AI setup
Setup is a conversation – the assistant created the team, the OKRs, and the initiative from one pasted message.
- We pasted the scenario and named the team. The assistant noticed no sales team existed, asked to create it, built the full structure, and asked before publishing.
- Targets were detected correctly, except the decrease-type key result (18 down to 6 hours) needed its target type fixed by hand.
- The flow is slower than Perdoo's importer, trading speed for conversation.
- Initiatives align to objectives, not to individual key results.
Core OKRs
The structure landed correctly and reads well in the alignment tree.
- Objective, three key results, and the initiative arrived with owners, team, and time period set.
- The alignment tree is a clean way to review the plan, and a views concept similar to Mooncamp's sits alongside the team pages.
- The key result panel is small and cannot be enlarged, which gives detailed work a spreadsheet feel.
Check-ins
Check-ins get the details right – manual status, expected-vs-actual, and per-team cadence.
- A clear check-in button takes a value, a status you choose yourself, and a comment – we logged 48 and set Behind by hand.

Reporting
Reports are easier to read than most of the field, but the variety is thin.
- Check-in Coverage and Compliance reports are genuinely useful for OKR champions, and clearer than the reporting we found in Mooncamp or Profit.co.
- Only one type of report was found – beyond it, you build your own views, filters, and dashboards.
- Filtering works well (we filtered key results to At Risk and Behind), but the nice alignment graph is hard to navigate back to.
Integrations
