OKR template to achieve a balance between team learning opportunities and routine tasks
The first objective of this OKR aims at achieving a balance in assigning routine tasks and learning opportunities among the team. To accomplish this, a rotating task schedule is to be established ensuring that all team members have an equal chance to hone various skills. This schedule will be monitored, readjusted if required, and all tasks will be evenly allocated.
The second objective focuses on implementing a structured learning program for everyone in the team by the end of the quarter. A comprehensive, tailored-to-needs learning program has to be developed. The specific learning needs and preferences of all members must be identified before rolling out the program.
The third objective measures the impact of the structured learning program. A 15% increase in team productivity due to new skills acquired is expected. For this, baseline productivity has to be identified before the training, then the productivity levels will be evaluated post-training.
Finally, the implementation of this learning journey, or putting into practice the new gained skills, is pivotal in either validating or refining the training program. Only by using newly-learned knowledge can there be a true measure of productivity and growth.
